Biografie

Martin Götze earned his Master´s (Dipl-Ing.) in Mechanical Engineering and Management in 2011 at the Technical University of Munich. He currently works as a graduate research assistant at the university´s Institute of Ergonomics, where he is also pursuing his doctorate. His main research interest is human-machine-interaction concepts in vehicles for urban areas. Martin´s primary concern is to, in the context of urban driving, define the amount of visual information one can process and interpret from head-up displays and combination instruments, and to optimize these for the urban driver. Additionally, he is also interested in general urban traffic in issues such as stress, safety, and ecological responsibility. Currently, Martin is working on these topics in the German UR:BAN project with over 30 industrial partners. He is expected to be finished with his PhD in mid 2017.
